Some UV systems we have worked with
We have many years of experience in the UV disinfection of waste water.
We supply consumable items such as lamps, quartz sleeves and control gear for many systems.
In addition our in depth knowledge allows us to offer far more assistance to UV system operators.
Here are some old case studies which although not necessarily relevant today show the depth of our experience and our professional approach in dealing with problem systems.
Case Study One
This involved a fairly radical rebuild of an existing system which was proving very costly to maintain.
The Scheme was fully implemented and has now been working successfully for approximately 2 years.
Case Study Two
This project addressed three quite old Fischer and Porter systems, the objective was to extend their viable working life and address unreliability problems.
It required remanufacture and redesign of major components and has proved very successful.
Case Study Three
This was a project to rebuild and refurbish a ” Waste water recovery” system It is unusual in wastewater treatment and we think it is a modified fresh water design.
It has three reactors which are ” in pipe” effectively.
The system had a very high failure rate on control gear.
Case Study Four
This was a second scheme on a this particular installation it is large 2080 lamps, we has previously made the system reliable this then showed up the reporting system as unreliable as you know if it doesn’t report correctly it will not comply with the consent to discharge.
